The vase is made out of terracotta. It's very heavy and made beautifully. Has a wonderful hand-crafted texture and slight variations in color. Fantastic patina. The color varies from terracotta, taupe, and beiges with a hint of burgundy. The rings do hang loosely and add a perfect touch.
